Christian and Lani are missionaries to San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Prior to becoming long-term missionaries, Christian served as an associate pastor at Tacoma North Foursquare Church in the state of Washington. For the past three years, Christian led short-term teams to San Luis Potosi, Mexico and the Dream Center in Los Angeles through Tacoma North Foursquare.

The Curbys believe that all Christians have been called to live lives of untamed faith, following God wherever He calls. They are obeying the Lord's call to go to Central Mexico to work in inner-city neighborhoods. While there, they will help to establish learning centers where they will share the gospel and train leaders to plant churches, teach English, and conduct computer training and digital photography training for young people.

Christian and Lani also plan to start an English speaking church for foreign nationals and students who live and work in Central Mexico. They are convinced that every believer's life makes an amazing impact on the kingdom, and wish to see the thousands of American and other foreign workers in Mexico saved and subsequently involved in outreach ministry to the poor and unreached people of Mexico.

The Curby's have three children: Joshua, Jacob and Grayce.
